I’ve been reflecting on the similarities between 7 mountains, holistic/integral mission, and Christian nationalism. It seems from this post that you see these various groups as all making the same 3 mistakes when it comes to the church’s mission. Is that right?

Thanks for your question! No, that’s not what I’m saying. I’ve met many wonderful churches and ministries who are making disciples through holistic/integral mission.

It does seem though that much of what is said about holistic mission would disagree with the first problem you articulate and the definition you provide for our real mission. Instead of Christianizing the culture, they may use the language of discipling the nations, then engaging in the same areas articulated by the 7 mountains crew. Some may even use the language of bringing/building the kingdom. I guess I’m trying to work out where the differences lie and where there may be actual overlap. Thanks for sharing!

Holistic ministries vary considerably. I've known many to have a very strong and genuine Gospel focus. Others don't. I'd be slow to lump them all together.
